Woah.... So long didnt post anything in this blog. Life is hectic as always. Just recently my Korean drama fever is back after almost a full year of lack of interest. It was Cain and Abel who intrigued me and now replacing the same time slot, City Hall. Both are so addictive but I must say City Hall turned me head over heels over the drama. I plan to write up my own review on City Hall but it has to wait until I have all the subs in my hot lil' hands. As for now, please enjoy the fanvids from City Hall.

Lee Hom Music Man Concert 2009 - May 2nd 2009, Stad. Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

Yes ppl Lee Hom is just simply AWESOME in his concert!!! The stadium was packed with lots and lots of fans. I'm glad that the fact I was there to enjoy the concert myself.

The concert started out with Daniel Lee's performance. FYI, he is the Malaysia Idol 2nd season winner. Not bad la. Considered as an OK performance though I did wish that someone else would have performance the opening act. :P

Our seats were in Blok 107, Row G. It was rather good seats despite the distance. Well what can you expect from RM 198 tickets anyway.... >.> Lee Hom looked so small. I'll upgrade to better seats for his next concert. Anyhoo... here are some of the blurry pics and super blurry videos that I took from his concert.

I was introduced to this Japanese band few weeks ago. Out of curiosity, I started to google and youtube around for more info. And after hearing one song to another, all I can say it that I am totally in love with them. Taka, the main vocal in the band have a very unique voice. He was previously in NewS. Yes, you read it correctly. NEWS, THE JAPANESE GROUP. I am so glad that he left the group coz I don't think I'll be able to enjoy their music if Taka stayed in NEWS. *Chuckles* Seems this blog now appear to be solely dedicate for Lee Hom. Sorry ppl, I can't help it. It's just time after time, the guy just put out irresistible stuff. I just had to spam about him.

AJ McLean's 'Sincerely Yours'

Let's talk about those boy bands tht we used to love and adore. Well at least for me and probably still am. Errr... only some of them, okay. I don't go ga-ga over every boy band tht popped out the music market. :-P

BSB is among the 1st few boy bands tht I actually kinda obsessed about. Hey... tht was like 10 years ago. I was a teenager at tht time, so it's 'common practice' to have a boy band to worship. :-P Anyhoo, AJ is my fav among those five members of BSB. Reason? He's the bad boy in the group. Tehee~. Neh... the main reason is, AJ have a really really great voice. Husky yet so sweet. I do agree tht Brian do have a great vocal too but I prefer AJ. Well after few years of MIA from the industry due to alcohol and drug abuse, and not to mention not so successfull albums, I can consider tht AJ's back with his new solo album tht's said gonna come out end of 2008.

Few of his upcoming songs can be found all over in youtube and my fav so far right now is 'Sincerely Yours'. The song is about AJ's feeling about his father walking out from his life. It's really a beautiful song though it's bitter sweet. Feel like crying from tht song. Such a lovely melody and with such a heartwrenching lyrics. AJ's voice makes it more emotional.

Upcoming Kdramas

Finally after few kdrama let downs. I'm excited again by some upcoming new kdramas.

Caught a glimpse of new kdrama on youtube title Beethoven Virus. Seems like a Nodame Cantabile type of drama minus tht anime acting.

Another drama is a new drama by Jang Hyuk. I'm always excited by any drama by Jang Hyuk. Though "Robbers" was a major let down. I'm still going to keep my mind open for his new drama titled Tazza. Dang, tht guy is so HOT! >.<

Another new for Goong main leads, they may be teaming up again for a new drama. Yoon Eun Hye taking the role as a restless girl who wants a gay (male) friend coz to her it's cool to have those kind of friend. Meanwhile Joo Ji Hyun will be playing the gay role. Oh, don't worry, the character is not really gay, he'll be acting as a gay coz he needed a place to live. Hence YEH comes into view becoz of her interest of having a gay friend. This drama sounds really cliche huh? Well, I dont really care coz I'm really deprive of any interesting kdrama for the past few months. This one hopefully will make up to it. ^^;

Zettai Kareshi

Jdrama review...

At last after few months of no reviews, I finally can find the time to actually finish a complete set of drama AND find the time to write my own personal review on it.

Zettai Kareshi did create quite a buzz when it was announced. Mainly becoz of the hugely popular original manga and the three main leads that was cast. Hayami Mokomichi as Night Tenjo and Mizushima Hiro as Asamoto Soshi, those 2 hot guys are simply irresistible. Seriously with tht kind of good looking cast, for sure the TV station is able to catch the viewers attention. As for the main lady lead, Aibu Saki as Izawa Riiko, I was expecting a prettier lead as to match up the two other HOT male leads but I guess her appearance is supposed to be a simple cute looking lady.

Now moving on to the main event, the review. Spoiler ahead. Dont read if you dont want to ruin the excitement.

What I can honestly say is that I don't exactly over ga-ga over this show. Why? Coz I find the show to be a bit boring and a lil' annoying after the first few episodes. Mainly becoz I grew tired of Night's childish antics. Honestly, having a hot looking boyfriend (though only an artificial intelligence) but with a childish and clingy attitude kinda turn me off. I would feel a bit suffocated with that. (>.<) Anyway, going back to the show. I felt that all three main character didn't have the necessary chemistry. I don't really feel any 'love' from Soshi nor the chemistry between Soshi and Riiko. So, that's kinda disappointing. >_>

As for Riiko and Tenjo. Hmm... Hayami did a decent job playing a robot. An annoying one tht is. First few episodes are totally boring, I was practically dragging myself to finish this drama, mainly becoz I want to get rid of it from my harddrive. :P. But things got interesting for me in the final 3 episodes, when Night started to have his own will, only then tht I felt a bit of love connection between Night and Riiko. Things tht Night done in the few last episodes does touch the heart a bit and it kinda make my heart ache a bit, knowing tht he's gonna... err... lets say... die. The final message from Night kinda a heartbreaking one coz we do really know how much he loved Riiko.

And in the end, Riiko did follow Soshi to Paris though there's no actual love connection in their relationship yet. Maybe a bit of liking to each other but definitely not love. So, it can be safely said tht, though Riiko is with Soshi, a human and not an A.I, her heart truly belongs to Night. In a way, it's a win win situation for Riiko, she got both... (>.<) Night's heart and Soshi. I'm jealous. >_>

Well, I dont want to dwell much on it since I find this drama kinda average despite the hugely popular original manga. I personally prefers the manga though.

Hope other people would enjoy this more than me. :P

Huh?! Music-who?

Well I guess with the latest craze of SUPER HEROES, Lee Hom too had got caught up with the current trends. The sudden influx of super heroes movies out there, Lee Hom come out with his new gig, a Taipei concert on the 19th and 20th Sept with the theme of super heroes. Yes, people. Here come MUSIC-MAN to the rescue to help fight piracy and people who make BAD MUSIC.
Bad music, eh? I wonder who those people might be? Herm.... (O_o)

But anyway, it does look a bit cheesy for me to see Lee Hom taking this new persona but heck, I don't care! Coz he'll be coming out with a new album in September, which some of the new songs might be feature in his September concert.

YAY!!! \(^o^)/

Too bad I don't live in Taiwan. Arghh... Lucky people. >.>

I'm so looking forward to September now.

Hmm... need to save money in case MUSIC-MAN does come to town. :-P

Yutaka Takenouchi's Upcoming Drama ~ Tomorrow

Spring season dramas are not even over yet but summer one are here knocking on my door already. Been super busy with life lately doesn't help any bit. Trying to catch up with the spring season but I'm already making list for summer season. And here is one drama that I've already put in my must watch list.

Tomorrow, main cast will be Yutaka Takenouchi.... *faint*..... yeah, faint.... he's probably among the few Japanese artists that I find to be really... really... really good looking. KYAAA!!! Sorry but I couldn't help it with this fangirling moment. I'm sure lots of girls go the same bizarre spasms every time his name is being mention. Okay, enough with fangirling already.

What's 'Tomorrow' all about? Well, it's a medical drama. *Sigh* ~ Like I don't have enough exposure already. ~ Anyway, Takenouchi plays a surgeon who retired 8 years ago to work for the municipal government. However, he ends up returning to the profession to help a local hospital on the verge of bankruptcy. Kanno plays a co-worker, taking on the role of a nurse for the first time in her acting career. I seriously can't wait for this drama and it starts on July 6th. On my birthday. Yay! Consider that as a birthday present. Hee~

Btw, here's a glimpse of the Yutaka's upcoming drama.

Look promising and I love the song also. It's a ballad titled 'Hikari' sang by Mai Hoshimura.

Veoh Blocked on Several Countries.

Seems tht Veoh had put out a really harsh decision on massive numbers of countries by blocking their service. The reason? Well it is reported that the blocked countries have low concentration of user and they now will only concentrate on countries with high user concentration. Below are the unlucky countries.

What makes it more painful to the unlucky users is the fact tht there was no warning what so ever on their action. It's just like yesterday you can access your Veoh acc and the next day *puff*, you're blocked... Users probably felt like they were *shoo*ed by the Veoh admins and being left out in the dark without any proper preparation.

I personally don't really feel the pain coz I'm not really tht crazy over Veoh anyway... there are always other sites tht you can go to... Well at least for me at the moment. Anyhoo... I think, somehow I manage to find a way of probably getting your way around this blocking. You can try this HERE but it only work for a good amount of 3Gb. Yes, there is a limit to it. But if you're desperate enough, I'm sure you'll want to try anything.

Fyi, I don't test this app, so don't ask me for answer if you stumble upon a wall after u try this. I just posted this for the reason of trying to give ppl some solution to their problem. Whether it works or not, tht depends on your luck. Try googling for answer or solutions, sometimes you'll be surprised with wht u can find on the net.

I must say, Last Friends has a lot of gorgeous casts.

Red ribbon signify the line of fate that connects a person to his or her destined partner.

'Last Friends' is one of the Japanese dramas that I am currently watching. I nearly gave this drama a miss due to a friend's opinion saying that it's a boring drama. Luckily another friend convinced me to watch it. The different opinion maybe due to the drama's content. Last Friends evolve around serious matters such as domestic violence, lesbian, gay, marital affairs and etc. I guess for people who don't like stories that involve real life matters and prefers comedy or light drama, I guess they probably won't enjoy this drama. Anyway, I give more review after I've watch the whole series and if I have the time to do so. But for the moment just enjoy the drama's theme song. Titled 'Prisoner of Love' by Utada Hikaru.

Ohno & Toma upcoming drama : Maou

Ohno Satoshi of Arashi fame and Ikuta Toma will be coming up with a new suspense drama in Julai 2008. I don't have much info yet on this but the drama is a remake of a popular Korean drama title 'The Devil' which was aired last year. Come to think of it. I actually skipped 'The Devil' coz I find it boring. I hope that it wouldn't be the same as with this one since Ikuta Toma is in it. Lately I've become fond of his acting and have been looking forward for his future drama. Maybe my wish has finally come true, that is to see Toma in a serious role. This is the synopsis that I got from DA.

'This drama is a remake of the popular suspense drama The Devil that was aired in Korea last year. Ohno Satoshi will be playing the role of a two-faced lawyer, one of which is a kind hearted soul and the other who is plotting revenge, using his brilliant mind, on the person who killed his relative. On the other hand, Ikuta Toma will play the double lead role of the man, who has become a detective due to his dark past, who is pursuing the mysterious series of murders and fighting against The Devil (Maou).'

Poco-Poco Dance!!!

Wahahahaaha!!! That's the first impression that came out from me when I learn about this Poco-Poco dance being danced by some Swedish university students.... Don't get me wrong. I don't mean laughing about the dance itself but it's more of like 'WTH? This is unbelievable.' Here I thought this dance is only known in my part of the world and who would have thought it already spread to Europe. I'm not really sure of its origin but I'm guessing it's from Indonesia.

I was first introduced to this dance by a colleague. Heck! I was bored at that moment so I just tagged along. So... to spare the details, I did manage to pick up few of the dance steps. Miahahahaha..... It's really a fun dance coz the steps are relatively easy to follow and you can add up a bit of your own style to it then really go crazy with it. As you can see with the Swedish students.... LOL....

Seriously, I recommend this dance to the really shy person who think he/she cannot dance.... You cannot go wrong with this dance and it's really fun and not to mention a good lil' aerobic exercise, which you can dance quietly at home [only if you're too shy to dance in a group] but hey... wht's Poco Poco without your Poco Poco buddies....

Lee Hom's maybe Olympics Song! Yay!!! One World, One Dream

I was kinda deprived of LeeHom lately and finding a video from one of his few Olympics songs that he had summited to the Olympics committee, really make my day. There were mixed reviews about this song. Some saying that it sounded too cheezy for LeeHom. But IMO, I feel that the song really suits the Olympics mood. Sounds really inspiring and moreover it's bilingual. Mandarin and English. Which probably will makes more sense to non-Mandarin speaking listeners. I love the chorus and especially the electric guitar sound in the background.

Heck!!! I don't care what people say. It's LeeHom. I love everything about him. Nuff said!!!

Upcoming spring season drama 2008. Zettai Kareshi. An adaptation from a popular manga. Obviously it provides plenty of eye candy. Heck who needs more eye candy when you have the present of Hayami Mokomichi as Night Tenjo and Mizushima Hiro as Soshi Asamoto. This drama spell sizzling H.O.T... It starts April 8th. I'm sure a lot of people have this in their watch list already. Well here is the main cast.

Yay... the final to the drama gonna be released in Jun. Finally I can get back the Oguri Shun that I love. Watching Oguri Shun in Binbo Danshi gives me heartache. Why u ask? I just can't stand to watch his hairstyle. It's just waayyyy too frizzy. But probably it was needed that way to suit his character. LOL!!! Can't wait.... Btw, here's the trailer to the movie.

Too bad the trailer's too short and didn't reveal much of anything. Waiting patiently here....

Hey ya ppl! Haven't been posting anything lately coz life was being bleh on me. Well now, I been watching few Japanese dramas since Korean drama industry seem to be in the cloudy side. These are some of the drama that I've been following :

I'm gonna add my reviews on all the dramas later when I completed the whole series. But I really loves Bara no nai Hanaya at this moment. A definite must watch especially is you really like drama like 'Pride'. Not giving anymore comments right now, I'm gonna wait and put everything in my reviews later.

Nodame Cantabile SP

Hey there! It has been quite for some time I didn't put up anything over here. Been rather busy lately. So I'm here to write about Nodame Cantabile SP. I'm not sure whether I had done a review on the drama in this blog. Well that doesn't matter anyway. I'll just add in stuff from the drama over here.

Warning! Spoiler ahead for those who haven't watch it.

Just finished watching Nodame Cantabile SP1 and SP2. Both 2 hours show were great but I like SP 2 the best. Probably becoz it showed more emotional side of Nodame and Chiaki finally confronted his true feelings towards Nodame. Seeing Chiaki being jealous made me go 'That's right, Chiaki. You should have made your move earlier'. Hahaha.... it was precious to see Chiaki being jealous of Kuriko-Kun.

I believe the highlight of this SP is the part when Chiaki kissed Nodame beside the castle lake. The build up for this scene was really intense. I was bracing myself for it. Sitting up straight as I started to anticipate the long awaited kiss between Nodame and Chiaki.

And as soon as the moment arrived.... it was like.... (>_<) ..... Huh?! That's it? I went WTH? You call that a kiss? It was flat as a pancake. There was no passion or any hint of love behind the kiss. Just two lips sticking to each other. Argghhh.... It really puts out my plan of lighting up some fireworks when in case both of them kissed. Damn. Even though Japanese dramas can be different and unique from the rest of the world. They really should learn how to kiss.... Man, it's the only thing that ruined the show. Other than that everything is very enjoyable as you can expect from Nodame Cantabile. The other casts are also very entertaining. I was kinda shocked to see that Eiji Wentz's acting skill had improve tremendously since the last I saw him in Gokusen. He shows that he had grown and can handle comedy. I hope that I can see him acting in more mature and serious roles. And not forgetting being so cute in it. (>_<) Another cast that caught my eyes is Becky. It's the first time that I watched her acting. Not bad might I say and she a beauty also. Looking forward to her future shows.

I got this so call Brain Test from a friend's blog. After I went through all the question, I found out that I'm Left-brained. So what does this means. Well you can read it yourself. The brief description of it, is as below.

Reading from the result was quite surprising because it reported that I could be good at math but I'm pretty sure that I suck at it. That's why I took Biochemistry as my major. I just simply suck at math. Come to think of it, they did say 'could be'. Maybe I'm not in that 'could be' category. Hahaha....

Just finish watching Honey & Clover 2nd episode. Preliminary impression? So far so good. Emotions started to move in the 2nd episode. You can notice how the actors and actresses slowly evolving in their characters.

The love triangles. The feeling of bliss and heartbreak.

I'm not going to say much until I've watched the whole series. Hope that it'll get even better in the coming weeks. Btw, I love the ending song by Hirai Ken title Canvas. Can't wait for it to be released in February.

LeeHom New 2008 Album?

It was reported that LeeHom will come out with a new album coming this May or June. Whether it's confirm or not, that I don't know. But.... it's still great news for his fans, if he does release the album.

However.... I'm a bit concern about it since the guy had been working his arse off for his movie, Lust Caution and also his Gai Bian Zi Ji album. To me, it was really a hectic year for him and only recently that he got a 2 weeks holiday for Chinese New Year.

Calculating from his supposed new album release, I believe that he might use his 2 weeks off holidaying with his family and at the same time producing the album or at least have something to do with it. I just wish that he would just drop all his work in that 2 weeks and really spend his time enjoying life and close companies. Seriously, don't want the guy to fall sick or anything.

LEEHOM, JUST GO HOME, LEAVE WORK BEHIND AND HAVE A REALLY... REALLY... DESERVING REST!!!

Lol, it not like he's gonna read this blog anyway. But then again who knows.... (^o^)

Now I am a believer in the power and influence of an idol spokesperson. Why? I think LeeHom had successfully subconsciously influenced myself to get a Sony Ericsson handphone.

That's right LeeHom, keep on smiling....

Fyi, NO.... I didn't get the phone for the main reason of LeeHom is the spokesperson for it. There are other reasons to it, well at least there's two. First of all, my Nokia N70 had been giving me headache for the past few months. It drives me crazy every time I had to send it for repairs. Honestly I don't know what went wrong with my N70. The past Nokia predecessors that I had had all 'retired with honors and dignity'. Nokia had been a trusted name in my family. Hehehehe.... My mom kept bugging me to replace it with other N series. But I kept my mind open for other phone brands....

Which of course leads to my second reason of choosing my new W910i. Initially I had N95 in my mind but then again I don't need a phone with a 5 megapixel camera. That's what my Sony T50 is for. After N95 came Motorola in mind but I think I had enough of huge lump in my jeans. Though Motorola are really slim they are a bit horizontally large for my not-so-long fingers to grasp. Btw, I'm kinda bored of Nokia already and also being a music lover I really need a phone with good sound quality. So Sony Ericsson comes to mind. But I don't like most of the Sony Ericsson phone designs, they all look so boring. Too 'square'ish, box-like maybe.... So after some internet browsing and window shopping, I heart got attached to W910i. It fits just nicely in my hand, looks great not too 'square'ish, have good sounds and graphics and most importantly it goes well with my budget. Well at least... after I traded in my N70.

So I guess in the end, I think LeeHom's 'Incomplete Melody' MV did played some subconscious role in my mind. Maybe watching the MV which had the red W910i in it made my brain to lean towards it. Hahahaha.... D*mn, I had fallen victim to the power of idols advert.

The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince a.k.a Coffee Prince

As of now I'd just finished watching Coffee Prince. I know... I know.... Some of you might think why did it took me so long to watch it since the drama was thought to be one of the best Kdrama in 2007. FYI, I had it with me for quite sometime now. It had been nicely tugged in my CD storage collecting might I say some dust already.

First of all for those who haven't watch it, let me just give you some insight on this drama. It started of as a story about Go Eun Chan played by none other, rising star actress Yoon Eun Hye. Btw, she was the leading role in Goong and Vineyard Man. Eun Chan is a tomboy who had to give up her feminine image due to her being the breadwinner of her family. Eun Chan stumble upon Choi Han Kyul played by Gong Yoo and was mistakenly took Eun Chan as a man by Han Kyul. Han Kyul who is an heir to a company was kept pressured by his grandmother to settle down by being forced in going to arranged blind dates. Out of Han Kyul's desperation to avoid those arranged blind dates and Eun Chan's pressing monetary problems, Eun Chan was hired by Han Kyul to be his gay lover. Later, Eun Chan managed to beg for work in Han Kyul's coffee shop. Eventually feelings between Eun Chan and Han Kyul start to spark making Han Kyul question about his own 'sexual orientation'.

Yoon Eun Hye did played her role brilliantly and so does Gong Yoo. They both do have on screen chemistry. Right from the 1st episode I'm pretty confident that YEH is going to be brilliant in that role because starting from Goong to Vineyard Man and to Coffee Prince, she practically had the same characters of which she managed to pull off easily. It's always the 'happy go lucky - not a care in the world' characters.

As for YEH co-star, Gong Yoo which I have little knowledge of.... I was quite skeptical at first. He didn't seem to be a really... really drop dead gorgeous guy to be playing opposite YEH. I wasn't really convinced whether he could pull off Han Kyul character. Although I think there are a lot more drop dead gorgeous actors out there, Gong Yoo managed to intrigued me with his drop dead gorgeous charms. Which is more important that drop dead gorgeous faces, I might say. His charms made me view him with a different light or angle. His charms outshine his looks. I am soo.... looking forward for his next drama.

Now lets get straight to the point. Was it as great as people been talking about? Herm.... my personal opinion, Coffee Prince was good but it wasn't great. You might be thinking why does she says that when I've been praising the leading roles. Well.... I do admit that Coffee Prince do have great leading and supporting actors and actresses, brilliant insert music and a good basic story plot. What make me say it was just a good drama but not a great one? To tell you there truth I was slightly disappointed which the developing plot. What? WTH is she talking about? Am I confusing you? Let me straight it out for you. I said it had a GOOD BASIC STORY PLOT but they didn't really have a strong developing plot. Everything was great up until the 12th or 13th episode but afterward it seems to be going down hill from there. It seems that the drama suddenly lost its momentum. In the end, I was like.... huh?! Is that it?

So.... Coffee Prince turn out to be a rather good but not great tasting coffee despite it was brewed from the best coffee beans. If only the barista had brewed it better, Coffee Prince would have been a very pleasurable drink so that I would have the taste implanted in my taste bud for a very long time.... (>.<)

Coming 2nd Jan 2008, Jang Hyuk and Lee Da Hae new drama title 'Robbers' going to be aired on SBS. Found a clip for the drama's preview. This is the remix clip that's presented by AmberFanArt. Credit to them. From the preview, it look like a very promising drama and I'm really looking forward to this drama.

Btw, I got a really shocking news from Jang Hyuk. Well at least for me. Apparently he has been in a relationship with a woman 2 years senior from him since 2002. And they are getting married in June after she had recuperated from giving birth to Jang Hyuk's child. They are expecting their child in February. Boy.... Jang Hyuk sure knows how to put a tight lid on his love life. Neway, congrats for ur wedding and the baby, Jang Hyuk....

Asian Idol 2007 ~ Hady Mirza?! (O_o)?!

Despite it's been a week after the official result of Asian Idol announced, I still felt really shocked from it. Although it's hard to swallow the fact that Hady Mirza won the 1st Asian Idol, I still believe that the true winner is Jaclyn Victor. The final result was argued over the net and still is up until now. I was told that Hady had 28% of the votes meanwhile Jac took away 27%. It was a really really close result. How did Hady Mirza won? Some had posted 10 reasons why Hady won the competition. Well, conclusion from all the 10 reasons, simply put is.... Hady's cute. Don't get me wrong. It's not that Hady's not talented but I believe that the others can sing far better than him.

IMO, being no 1 doesn't always mean that you'll be successful in the future. This had been proven by the success of few American Idol's 'losers'. Which at some point, are more successful than from the season's winner themself. I would like to name Elliot Yamin as an example. Maybe Lady Luck have something to do with it. (^_^)

Herm.... Despite all that, I think there is no point in arguing it anymore. Now... I have to constantly remind myself of that.... The result had already announced and finalized. The only thing that I would want to do is to wish the best to Hady for his future career and hope that he would make Asian proud if he is to be representing Asia in any future World Idol (if there is any). To Jac, I believe Asian Idol is a good platform for her to promote herself to the other Asian communities and maybe the world. I really hope that the world would take notice of her talents in the near future preferably... NOW!!!.

KDrama Review....

I've just finishing watching Bad Couple. A KDrama that was recommended to me by a friend since I haven't watch any KDrama lately. Well by trusting her judgment I went on watching it. My early impression of the drama. Herm....not bad. But later after progressing a few episodes, I concluded that Bad Couple was severely underrated since it didn't get its deserving publicity.

This drama is all about a single career woman named Kim Dang Ja played by Shin Eun Gyung, suddenly having the urge to have a baby of her own but she doesn't want marriage just the baby. So she went on 'sperm hunting' since Korea doesn't allow single women to have test tube babies. Dang Ja set her eyes on only the best genes. She finally found what she wanted from a botanist cum university professor named Choi Gi Chan played by Ryu Soo Young. But unlike man nowadays, Gi Chan only believe in sex after marriage. The drama tells about the hilarious ways done by Dang Ja in getting Gi Chan to do it without the commitment .

IMO, this drama didn't really appeal to a lot of people maybe due to the casts. Honestly I only recognized Ryu Soo Young. I first came to know him from 'Bright Girl' drama. He acted as Han Jun Tae, opposite Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara. Then I stumble upon him again in 18 vs 29. I love both of the dramas.

Dang Ja was played by Shin Eun Gyung, which relatively unknown to me. I didn't have any expectation from her since I've never watch her acted before and boy... was I suprised. She carries the character really well and that's one of the reason I was glued to this drama until the end. Well after googling about Shin Eun Gyung, I found out that, this drama was her comeback to the small screen after 8 years. Duh... No wonder I didn't know about her since I mostly watch Kdramas compared to KMovies.

Another actor that caught my eyes was Seo Jun Soo character played by Yoo Gun a.ka. U Gun. He was casted when Suh Ji Suk couldn't join the casts. U Gun's kinda cute to me but he still need a lot of improvement in his acting and I'm looking forward in seeing him again in the future.

This drama not only about putting big smiles on your face or hilarious acts, it also have the same amount of tear jerker in it. I think that is why it is so underrated, people don't know that it is such a multi-emotional drama. The drama is always a bit of smile, a dash of laughter and a pinch of teary-eye here and there. I believe that this is a good drama to watch. And a lot of people would love it also. Of btw you can watch it here. MySoju.

JDrama Review

Even though this series hasn't ended. I could not restraint myself from writing about this drama anymore. I really love it very much. I enjoyed every single episodes and been looking forward for the next one. Credit goes to the original novel, written by Higashino Keigo.

The main actor, Fukuyama Masaharu played his role as Yukawa Manabu brilliantly. As for his opposite, Shibasaki Kou played as Utsumi Kaoru. A rookie policewoman who would do anything in trying to solve her cases. Of course with the help from Yukawa who happens to be a genius physicist and also an associate professor. Utsumi manage to convince Yukawa time after time to help her solve mysterious cases by intriguing his from the unexplainable mysteries that surrounds the case. He believes that every action have their own explanation and he is determined to proof it from his point of view. That is of course from a scientific way.

Each episode brings different excitement. Myself personally, because of each episode would involve a lot of scientific explanation. Whether it is from physics or biology or chemistry or maybe it's combination point of view. I believe that all of these types of science cannot be divided and will always interlinked with each other. Though the explanation for each episode can be from as simple as a physics theory or from a plain chemistry formula that we learned from high school. The drama managed to make it really interesting to watch and gain knowledge at the same time. This drama successfully grab the viewers attention week after week.

Fukuyama being a talented singer and songwriter wrote this drama's theme song, titled KISS Shite. And it is sang by none other than his opposite, Shibasaki Kou who goes by the alias name of KOH+. The funky music suits well for this drama and I really enjoy listening to it.

There'a another reason why I like this drama. I particularly liked Fukuyama's character. Simply because of his character reminds me of my own thesis supervisor. He was exactly the same character of Yukawa. Genius, tall, handsome and eccentric at times. Hahahaha... (^o^) ... making it to be a pain in the @#$ when working with him sometimes. But his enthusiasm made me worked even harder.

Hope that you enjoy watching the drama as much as I am. As I find it to be different from other dramas that I'd watched before. Enjoy!!! (^_^) v

JDrama Review....

What can I write about My Boss My Hero (MBMH)? I've got high recommendation for this drama since last year but for some reasons unknown, I wasn't at all interested in Japanese dramas during that time. Maybe because I was too engrossed with Korean drama. But I finally started to watch JDramas this year and MBMH falls under the must watch list. Had just finish watching it.

My verdict? Herm.... Honestly I was expecting it to be more but I should fairly say that it was very entertaining. Herm.... Maybe because I was expecting too much from it. Having Nagase Tomoya playing the lead as the 27 years old and a pretty dumb coming to be Yakuza leader was a good move by the drama production. I guess comedy has been Nagase's genre. His acting in MBMH reminds me of his 2001, Mukodono. His left a fairly good impression in my mind. It was a very good family comedy. I really enjoyed it very much. As for MBMH.... u can say that it's a stress reliever. It's kinda a slapstick comedy. So it can be enjoyable for ppl who likes this kind of drama. Personally I enjoyed it very much but I didn't like his over face expressions when he portraits Sakaki Makio character. But then again, what other face expressions am I suppose to expect from a 27 yeas old-dumb-yakuza leader posing as a 17 years old guy going to a private school... eh? Still remember the scene where he wore those home made Anikinder costume, the helium gas and that funny belt. It was sooooo..... hilarious I laughed until I almost fell from my seat. Miahahahahaa.......
Even though this drama is a comedy, there are few times where some seriousness kicks in. I particularly like the serious side of Nagase Tomoya when he was in jail and apologized to his teacher. His serious side really shows and at that point I really wish to watch Nagase in a serious drama roles. He seems to be able to carry such roles. But even now, his new drama is also a comedy... well romantic comedy from what I read, titled Utahime. Maybe I'll watch it later and post my comments. Neway, MBMH is a very good stress reliever. So, depress or stress out ppl go and watch it. I'm sure u'll be relief after watching it. Happy viewing!!! (^_^) v

Upcoming JDrama....

Good news to Honey and Clover series fan. They are going to come out with the live action drama coming this January 8th on Fuji TV. Even though, I'm not a fan of Honey and Clover manga or anime, I was excited becoz Ikuta Toma gonna be in it. Yay!!! (^o^).... Honey and Clover tells about the lives of 5 college students and their love triangles. Ikuta Toma gonna play Takemoto Yuta and meanwhile his other half, Morita Shinobu will be played by Narimiya Hiroki. Hanamoto Hagumi is played by Narumi Riko.

P/S : Sorry I couldn't find any image from the live action drama. The image from the anime will have to do for now....

Latest addition....
In my sudden interest in Honey and Clover live action drama, I did some more snooping and googling around. So I finally got around the plot of Honey and Clover and to tell you the truth, it got my interest and I really have high expectation for this drama. Just because Ikuta Toma going to be playing the serious role as Takemoto rather than the crazy role as Morita. Which to some people... I guess... they would expect that he'll be playing the happy go lucky and crazy character, as he did in Hana Kimi when he was casted as Nakatsu. Even though I like the crazy character of Nakatsu, I missed Junpei of Hana Yori Dango character. He was mysterious and incredibly HOT in it. Cant wait to watch Ikuta Toma playing the mellow character as Takemoto Yuta.

Upcoming JDrama...

Just got new info about Oguri Shun. Seems that he's been busy lately with a lot of new projects. Other than his new movie, Crows Zero and also the up and coming, Hana Yori Dango The MOvie, Oguri Shun's new drama will be coming out in early January 2008. Title 'Binbo Danshi', he'll be appearing as a poor college student but with a optimistic mind. And because of him overly nice character, he found himself to be taking in other people's debts and have to face difficulties and challenges in paying off those debts. This plot kinda reminds me of Liar Game. The main character was so... or it is too... nice. I don't know whether to call it nice or just plain stupidity. Well now, lets not dwell into it too much.

Binbo Danshi will be another comedy for Oguri Shun apart from his recent success 'Hanazakari no Kimitachi e'. Unfortunately that is all the information that I get. I'll be updating it once I have more info. So Oguri Shun's fans keep an eye for this drama. I know I will.

Hana Yori Dango Final - The Movie...

I'm sure that quite a lot of 'Hana Yori Dango' fans already know about the up and coming final installation of the live-action adaptation. But still, this info is for people who didn't know about it.

The film is set to be released in Summer 2008 and the shooting will start in January 2008 with 2 months of overseas filming. All the cast will reprise their roles and the film's plot is set 1 year after Makino Tsukushi's graduation. The film will also depicted the ups and downs of Tsukushi and Tsukasa's relationship as it the same plot in both of Season 1 and 2 drama. The series' director Yasuharu Ishii will helm the picture. The story is developed by the original mangaka Yoko Kamio and the series' screenwriter Mikio Satake (actor Takayuki Takuma).

Well now, I'm pretty excited about the film coz finally Tsukushi and Tsukasa are going to have their deserving ending to their turbulence relationship. Herm.... To say deserving or not, it all depends on the film's plot. Whether or not, it can really satisfy HYD's fans. I'm really hoping that the plot's going to be a damn good one coz anything lesser would make the whole series go to waste. You know what I mean, right? Sequels sometime flopped, making it so painful to watch since the 1st installation was so damn great! HYD 1 and 2 manage to remain entertaining. I'm can't wait to watch the movie and say the same thing about it.

Well.... Summer 2008. Hana Yori Dango - The MOvie.... on my watch list!!! And so is our hawt.... OGURI SHUN!!!

A KDrama Review....

Well I had been adding few drama reviews and it's all Jdrama. I haven't done any review on KDrama. Haven't been watching any new KDrama though, so I had no other choice but to put in past reviews that I had written in my Friendster Account. So here goes...

FYI, the title post wasn't about expressing my gratitude but it's actually the title for KDrama show that was starred by Jang Hyuk (but I do appreciate those ppl who spent time reading my blog. So, I THANK YOU for the bottom of my heart). 'Thank You' is Jang Hyuk 1st drama soon after he finished his 2 years stint in Korean National Service. His comeback was long over due and a lot of people have been painfully waiting for his new drama. The anticipation was high for this drama due to the highly successful projects from Jang Hyuk. Famously named, the hilarious 'Successful story of a bright girl', 'Please teach me English' and the teary-eyed 'Windstruck'.

The story goes.... Jang Hyuk played as Dr. Min Ki Seo. He travelled to Blue Island to fulfill his deceased girlfriend's last wish. That is to find a little girl that was infected by HIV due to her mistaken medical decision. She had neglected medical procedures when treating the little girl and had given her HIV tainted blood. His task was to deliver her apology to the little girl and her family. The mother to the little girl happens to be Lee Young Shin (played by Gong Hyo Jin), a single mom, who also had a hard time caring for her grandfather who has Alzeimer's and keeping her daughter's HIV condition a secret while teaching her how to live with it. Min Ki Seo was an arrogant person who looked down on people and after meeting Lee Young Shin who accepted her fate and tried to make the best of it despite all odds, slowly changed for the better and became a warm and caring person.

This drama try to expose viewers with the reality of life for HIV and AIDS patients. Showing how people would react towards them, the family bond that bind the patients and their family and also how they coped with the harsh treatments from prejudice and ignorant people. The show had some educational facts for HIV and AIDS and this is also a good way to convey info to the public on the topic.

I love watching this drama due to the quality of acting from both of the actors and actresses, the lovely scenery of Blue Island and beautifully crafted soundtracks. And as I've mentioned before this is Jang Hyuk 1st drama after finishing his 2 yrs stint in the Korean National Service, just wanna highlight that the trainings does give him some erm..... hehehe.... good side effects. You'll know what I mean when you watch the show. Let me give you a hint. 'Shower scene'. Hehehe....if you want to know what is it all about, I guess you guys just have to watch it and find out for yourselves then.

Jang Hyuk's acting skills had improved a lot since his project with Jang Nara. From comedy to sad story and to serious human drama. It is surely a big leap of improvement. Can't wait for his new drama coming this December named 'Robber' and he's going to pair up with Lee Da Hae of 'My Girl' and "Green Rose' fame. Make me curious about the actor and actress pairing. Just have to wait and see, I guess. Oh....not forgetting his new movie, Dance of the Dragon. He's acting along with Fann Wong, a Singaporean actress. If I'm not mistaken... (O_o) ?!.... The movie said to be 90% in English. Wonder how Jang Hyuk gonna sound. The movie is also said to be released early next year. So, Jang Hyuk's fans, you all have a lot to wait for.

BTW, Jang Hyuk had some facial hair this time around and honestly to me, guys with a slight facial hair are sooooooooo......... HAWT.... So that is a sure thing for Jang Hyuk in 'Thank You'. He's so totally H.O.T..... (^_^) v

Malaysia d-addicts Community Gathering....

MdaC sekali lagi dengan jayanya telah mengadakan perjumpaan buat kali ke 3. Perjumpan kali pertama dan kedua aku tak join atas sebab yang tak dapat dielakkan. Gathering pertama, aku x join lgk MdaC nie, gathering kedua kat Berjaya Times Square plk disbbkan last minute punye keje, so x dpt gi dan akhirnya bagi perjumpaan kali ketiga nie berjaya gak redah bandar Kajang untuk ke rumah Kak Azra, tuan rumah bagi perjumpaan kali ketiga nie. Nasib tak sesat teruk, sekadar terlajak jalan dalam bandar Kajang jek. Still bole carik u-turn dan kembali ke pangkal jalan. Huhuhuhu....

Sampai2 umah Kak Azra, siap pusing dua kali sbb carik parking. Lastly gi parking kat ujung barisan umah teras Kak Azra. Mase turun kete, hati dok berdegup laju. Dup...dap...dup...dap.... Macam2 mende dok pikir. Camne org2 MdaC nie. Hehehe....tp bile dh bagi salam n masuk n perkenalkan diri pada tuan rumah, segala kegelisahan tue hilang. Sebabnye? Sebab, Kak Azra ramah orgnye walopon baru 1st time jmpe. Anak-anak Kak Azra sume comel. Memang gaya anak org Korea @ Japan. Especially cute baby Qistina (kalo x silap nama anak bongsu Kak Azra).

Lepas perkenalkan diri pada tuan rumah, baru beralih pada MdaC lain2 yg dh smpi lebih awal. Rase geli hati plk sbb kene perkenalkan diri ikut nickname. Pastu asyik pggl each other with their own nickname plk. Sume MdaC yg hadir ari tue memang ramah belaka. Ramai yg dh rapat with each other before sbb dh penah jumpe mase perjumpaan yg dulu. Mula-mula ahli-ahli MdaC nie agak malu kucing kot. I am, myself for certain mmg malu-malu kucing at first tp majlis jdk lgk bingit bile masuk topik-topik perbincangan drama nie. Masing-masing bagi pendapat masing-masing. Hahahaha.... (^o^).... mmg seronot. Tambah plk ngan masakan Kak Azra yg best tue. Sume dia buat sendiri. Termasukla buah oren Sunkist yg dikatakan ditanam sendiri oleh Kak Azra. Hihihi.... Untuk a more detail report leh bace link nie. Iryu Team Medical Dragon....

Yes.... This Japanese drama title does sound rather silly... well at least for me... but the storyline is pretty good. The basic storyline is about the dirty politics, corruption and nepotism that goes along with it, in Meishin University Medical Hospital.

Ryutaro Asada, played by Sakaguchi Kenji is a rebellious doctor who had been out casted in Japan medical league due to a devious plot by Kirima Gunji (played by Kitamura Kazuki). Ryutaro's extraordinary talent in surgery had been the prime jealousy of Kirima.

One day, Kirima's girlfriend Akira Kato had invited Ryutaro to join her team in doing a research that involves a highly specialized cardio-surgery prosedure named Batista. Akira seek Ryutaro's help after witnessing his skills in successfully treating patients in harsh working condition and without proper equipments. The drama tells about how Ryutaro find suitable teammates for the surgery and the dirty tricks that he had to cope through.

I surely don't want to reveal too much about the show. (^_^) .... Neway what I would like to say about this show was the main actor, Sakaguchi Kenji. Watching him in the first frame of Iryu gives me deja vu... like I had seen him somewhere before but I can't put his image anywhere. Not until midway of Iryu's 1 episode that it finally hit me. Ryutaro was Yamato in 'Pride'. Haha.... He totally had a different character in Iryu. In 'Pride' he plays as a person who is less secure. Whereas in Iryu, he played a very confident person. Seeing how well he played both of the totally different characters shows that Sakaguchi Kenji has good acting skills.

The other character that caught me eyes was Ijyuuin Noboru, sort of an intern in Meishin University Medical Hospital. He was reluctantly caught between the dirty hospital's politics and Ryutaro's rebellious actions. Ryutaro's interest in Ijyuuin was reasoned by the fact Ijyuuin is not yet corrupted by the hospital's politics. Ryutaro harshly trains Ijyuuin and making him among the youngest skilled heart surgeon. Ijyuuin character was played by Koike Teppei. I didn't really realize he was the other half of a Jpop duo 'WaT' until I read Dramawiki for more info on the show. He's totally cute and played a rather convincing insecure doctor in Iryu. Honestly with his seemingly short stature, he does kinda look like Doogie Howser M.D to me..... heheheh .....

Being kinda directly involve in the medical field, I do have a high expectation in medical dramas. But in reality, it's very hard to find a really convincingly made medical drama. For me, what's most impressive in Iryu, is the fact that they made really good and realistic internal organs. But I can't say the same about the blood though. The colour is sometime close to the real thing but there are times where it's totally sort of ... out of colour. Well, nevertheless it is a good medical drama. And I can't wait for Iryu 2 to finish so that I can marathon it. Hahahaha.... (^_^)V

Word of the day : Disappointment

Haven't been blogging for quite some time now. Been busy catching up with few dramas lately and also deflating my overly bloated external and laptop HDD. Gonna add up the reviews later.

Today isn't a good day for me it seems. Some 'lousy' people had ruined it. Disappointment is the main word. Just can't believe such supposedly professional people be so 'unprofessional'. More over, they said such stupid remarks. If they hated their work so much then they should just quit. No need to go around, putting bad influences to other people and making a fool out of them self. The meaning of being a leader is to lead and inspired people and not the opposite. When the 'lead' position was given to you, it means more responsibility and not just the increased paycheck that you receive every month. If you can't handle the pressure or the responsibility that comes with it then you should just give it up to other people who are more trustworthy.

Moral of the story? With great power, comes great responsibility. Eh? Herm? Now, where did I heard that before. Hehe.... (^_^) v

Another Jdrama review....

What is all the fuss with Takuya Kimura? This guy created a storm back when I was in high school [ (O_o) ... I think it was high school...]. He acted in a drama that stirred up not only Japanese community but I believe Malaysian also but unfortunately I cant remember which drama it was. I was probably too preoccupied with school...miahaha.... Ya, right!!!.... But lets leave it as that.

Now... might I say after watching Takuya Kimura's "Pride", I know what was the fuss all about. Takuya's acting skill is unquestionable since he can really carry the roles that was given to him really well. This quality seems to be lacking in some of the younger Japanese actors. Takuya oozes charisma on screen and I believe that's why after all these year, women still go ga-ga over him.

Coming back to Pride, Takuya Kimura played Halu Satonaka, the ice hockey captain of Blue Scorpions and his opposite, Aki Murase played by Yuko Takeuchi is just an ordinary office lady. The story begins when Aki, after being spotted in Face Off Bar, which was the hangout place for Blue Scorpions, was reluctantly forced to go out on a date with Halu. Halu treats ice hockey very seriously and to him romance is just a game. Aki become the perfect love game partner when he found out that Aki had been waiting for her architect boyfriend to return from abroad. The promise that been made by Aki's boyfriend was for them to meet at the bridge he had design when he returns. Sadly Aki's boyfriend had not been in contact with her for the last two years and giving no sign of coming back. Eventually a mutual agreement was made between Halu and Aki. Both of them will enjoy each other's company until Aki's boyfriend returns with no strings attached. As the relationship progressed, it seems that they are walking on a thin line in the game that they are playing. Both parties then started to have doubt about each other's true feelings. Halu's looked like that he's going to lose the game while Aki having doubt about whether she should continue on waiting for her boyfriend. Well thats all I telling about the storyline, don't want to give anymore spoilers. :-p

Herm... now, why do I totally fell in love with this show? First of all, I just love the fact that they used Queen songs in the show. It just fits perfectly. I Was Born To Love You perfectly suited to be the theme song and throughout the whole show they brilliantly inserted other Queen songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, Too Much Love Will Kill You, Let Me Live and obviously of coz We Are The Champions.

Second reason is the great chemistry between Halu and Aki. Just loved the sarcastic small talks that was made by Halu and Aki when they argued. Sooo.....cute. And Halu's sly behavior when he's around Aki, teasing her around. The facial expressions on both of them are priceless. Aki's 'I'm always for you' or 'forever there for you' attitude touches the heart. Both TK and YT brilliantly played their roles. The silent scenes also give out a clear meaning of what they wanted to express.

Lastly, I love the way the show was made. Beautiful cinematography. Making it so enchanting when both Halu and Aki together. Over all, it is like watching the Korean drama "Winter Sonata", great chemistry between the main characters and the show was beautifully made but minus the overly mushy love story.

Now.... I think I go and search for that whirlwind drama that first made Takuya Kimura a famous man he is now....

Aidil Fitri....

First of all, let me wish Happy Aidil Fitri to all that celebrates it. My Aidil Fitri celebration kinda a lot quieter than previous years since my dad not around anymore. Usually he'd be the one to be hyperactive about the celebration preparation, without him, I do feel kinda lost. Really do miss him a lot. Well now, lets not mellow on it too much or my eyes gonna well up with tears again...

This year brings a lot of changes. Cause some of them are either already married or they didnt get ample leaves from their work. As for me, hehehe....I manage to get 2 weeks off. The spell that I casted on my boss must've worked like a charm since he approved it without even questioning anything. Well now, visiting friends' houses are less than expected this year. Just manage to visit 2-3 houses only and we havent even gotten anybody yet to be the host for this year's gathering. As things going about right now, it seems to be futile. Well then, I just have to enjoy the holiday as it is........

Hanazawa Rui vs Sano Izumi.....

Just want to put my thoughts on a Japanese actor that recently caught my eyes. He is Oguri Shun. He acted in Hana Yori Dango as Hanazawa Rui(left pic) and Hana Kimi as Sano Izumi(right pic). Seems like both of the character are similar to each other. Not forgetting to mention that he also played a small similar character in Densha Otoko. Both personality in HYD and Hana Kimi, that he played were mysteriously enchanting. FYI, I've longed being in love with that kind of character....hehehehe....

Initially I watch Hana Kimi before HYD and he didn't really intrigued me that much. I was more interested in Ikuta Toma playing Nakatsu. Toma's character was more colourful and exciting than Shun, which was mysterious but not quite really hitting that 'wow' button. But that all changed when I started to watch HYD. The air that surround his character was like....SUGOI!!!....He played his character superbly and might I say, I was wishing he would get the heroine in the end.

Shun started acting from small roles such in GTO and Densha Otoko and I believe that he had learn a lot from those shows. The body language and facial expression is all good. He definately a good actor and I'm hoping that I might get to watch him acting in a more serious drama which involve more emotions. Wonder whether he could really carry such heavier roles. Well...I just have to wait and see then..... ;-p
As for my verdict between Hanazawa Rui vs Sano Izumi...definately Oguri Shun as Hanazawa Rui...totally blazing H.O.T in it. As for Sano Izumi,... Nakatsu caught my eyes.... ;-D

Hana Kimi vs Hana Yori Dango.....

Recently I've started watching Jdrama due to the fact that there's lack of good Kdrama lately. I also shifted due to high recommendation from few of my friends, who have longed been an avid Jdrama fan. I've completed Hanazakarino Kimitachi e (Hana Kimi) a week ago and just finished Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2 (HYD) after a heartily marathon for 3 freakish nights. For the past 3 days, I been liked a night owl, straining my eyes to watch HYD. What I can say is, both of the manga based dramas are really, really good and maybe not too exaggerated if I say it was great to watch!!!

Lets start with Hana Kimi first, it tells about a school girl name Ashiya Mizuki (played by Horikita Maki) disguised herself as a school boy in order to get herself into an all boys school in Japan. This is due to the fact that Ashiya need to get close to a boy studying there, Sano Izumi (played by Oguri Shun). Ashiya needed to get close to Sano because of an incident that had happened in USA, which lead to the changes in Sano life. Making him a different person than before. Ashiya felt that she was responsible to the incident and the changes.

Therefore the story tells about how Ashiya get through the daily life in the school. How she get through sticky situation when surrounded by boys. Eventually her antics caught the heart of one of the boys, Nakatsu Shuichi (played by Ikuta Toma - Oh btw, he's damn kawaii!!). Which later made Nakatsu question about his sexual orientation.

The show is full of funny antics by Ashiya and the boys. I especially liked Nakatsu reaction towards Ashiya and the things that he had done so that he'll be noticed by her. Through and through it is a really funny show and deserves a thumb up....

Now lets move on to the next show, Hana Yori Dango. Honestly, I was kinda late in watching this show. Hahahahahaha.....poor me missing out on a good show. Nevermind that. Now....HYD actually have 2 seasons, fortunately for me, I didn't have to wait for the show week after week because it completed long time ago. That leads to my 3 days marathon..hehe....

HYD tells about Makino Tsukushi (played by Inoue Mao) a poor girl who is studying in Eitoku Gokusen, an elite school which is attended by Japan's super rich kids. The school was ruled by the world famous F4 or Flower 4. F4 lead by Domyoji Tsukasa (played by Matsumoto Jun of Arashi), he is the heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui (again played by Oguri Shun - he looked oh so much better with lighter hair), he's the quiet member of the group and also the son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro (played by Matsuda Shota), he is a player and also the heir of a tea ceremony school; and lastly Mimasaka Akira (played by Abe Tsuyoshi), son of an underground mafia and apparently he likes to fool around with older women.

The rule of the school is, if a student gets on the F4’s bad side, the student would gets a red notice by F4 and the unfortunate student would get bullied and eventually driven out of school. This show begins when Makino received a red notice from F4 when she offended Domyoji in a bid to defend her friend. Makino who wished to pass her days in Eitoku peacefully and unnoticed, decided to fight back after being harassed at school and eventually declared war on F4 or namely, Domyoji. Her fighting spirit caught the eyes of Hanazawa Rui, which Makino had a crushed on. The real trouble begins when Makino's enemy, Domyoji seems to be romantically drawn to her.

This show also has a lot of laughs due to Makino and Domyoji weird relationship. It is equally emotional when a love triangle exist between Makino, Domyoji and Hanazawa. As it is said in the show, love is truly a bittersweet cookie. A bit of sweetness and bitterness....

Suatu peringatan buat semua......

Kisah dibawah adalah untuk peringatan kepada diri sendiri dan juga renungan kepada rakan-rakan yang membaca.......

Ini kisah perjumpaaan dua orang sehabat yang sudah puluhan tahun berpisah. Mereka amat merindui antara satu sama lain, berbual, bersenda sambil minum kopi di sebuah cafe.Awalnya topik yang dibicarakan adalah soal2 nostalgia zaman sekolah dulu, namun pada akhirnya menyangkut kehidupan mereka sekarang ini.

"Mengapa sampai sekarang kamu belum menikah?" ujar seorang kepada temannya yang sampai sekarang masih membujang. "Sejujurnya sampai sekarang ini saya masih terus mencari wanita yang sempurna. Itulah sebabnya saya masih membujang. Dulu waktu saya di Utara, saya berjumpa dengan wanita yang cantik yang amat bijaksana. Saya fikir inilah wanita ideal untuk saya dan sesuai menjadi isteri saya. Namun belakangan selepas itu pada masa berpacaran baru aku tahu dia sebenarnya amat sombong. Hubungan kami putus sampai disitu.

Di Ipoh saya ketemu seorang perempuan yang cantik jelita ,ramah dan dermawan. Pada perjumpaan pertama aku begitu takjub dan seronok. Hatiku berdesir kencang, inilah wanita idealku. Namun selepas itu baru saya tahu, ia banyak tingkahlaku yang tak baik dan tidak bertanggung jawab.

Dan ketika aku di JB. Aku bertemu wanita yang manis, baik, periang dan pintar. Dia sangat menyenangkan bila diajak berbicara, selalu menyambung perbualan kami dan penuh humor. Tapi terakhir aku ketahui kalau dia dari keluarga yang berantakan yakni berpecahbelah dan selalu menuntut sesuatu yang kita tidak mampu memenuhinya. Akhirnya kami berpisah.

Saya terus mencari, namun selalu mendapatkan kekurangan dan kelemahan pada wanita yang saya temui.

Sampai pada suatu hari, saya bersua dengan wanita ideal yang saya dambakan selama ini. Ia begitu cantik, pintar, baik hati, dermawan dan penuh humor. Dia juga sangat perhatian dan sayang kepada orang lain. Saya fikir inilah pendamping hidup saya yang dikirim oleh Tuhan untuk saya".

"Lantas", sergah temannya yang dari tadi tekun mendengarkan "Apa yang terjadi? Mengapa kamu tidak terus meminangnya?".

Yang ditanya diam sejenak dan akhirnya dengan suara perlahan si bujang itu menjawab, "Baru sekarang aku mengetahui bahawa ia juga sedang mencari lelaki yang sempurna".

Kesimpulan : Sudah diketahui maksud daripada cerita itu ? ....
Nobody's perfect. Jadi jangan mensia-siakan apa yang sudah ada di hadapan kita ,belum tentu nanti kita mendapatkan yang lebih baik dari yang sekarang kita dapat, Kalau kita mahu mencari yang sempurna, check dulu diri kita sendiri, apakah sudah sempurna di hadapan orang lain.
